I'm beyond excited to get my teeth into this show. As a director you know when a show has that something special as soon as you first see it. Without a doubt, Dairy of a Whimpy Kid packs that punch. I’ve loved the idea of this show from the moment I first discovered it was a musical. It is fun and whimsical, and the cartoons take you on a journey of their very own adding so much dimension to the overall production. As a life member of our Peoples Playhouse, I am thrilled to be involved with the Victorian Premiere of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and can't wait to bring this hilarious and heartwarming production to life. Peoples Playhouse believes in the power of theatre to inspire, educate, and entertain young people. As a director, I love nothing more than bringing kids out of their shell and helping them discover their inner superstar.

I have been involved in musical theatre and dance since I was approximately 3 years old, and am thrilled to be on board for the upcoming Victorian premiere of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I was so excited and honoured to be part of the team that brought Elf to life in our previous production. I am committed to nurturing and developing local talent, and believe that everyone has the ability to shine on stage.

I am thrilled to be back involved in a production with Peoples Playhouse. As a Life Member, I have had many different roles across the company over the past 17 years, and it is very exciting to now be part of a brand new show. Diary Of a Wimpy Kid is such a well known book series and to see it brought to life on stage with music is going to be an absolute treat. It is also a perfect show for Peoples Playhouse to be presenting because it is a wonderful family show which is led by great parts for kids and youth as well as some adult roles in there as well. This is definitely a musical to be a part of!!

I have been involved with Peoples Playhouse for many years in a variety of roles, and am keen to work with the company again. I believe theatre brings a positive outlet for people of all ages,
especially the youth. Diary of a Wimpy Kid brings to the stage a story of friendship that the whole family can enjoy. It is exciting to be a part of this Victorian Premiere with our amazing creative team, and I can't wait to help support their visions to come to life.
